Czechia offers excellent opportunities for international scientists, including Maria Curie Fellowships CZ, where projects scoring more than 70% are funded by the Czech government. If interested, please send to bullab@fzp.czu.cz an email with the subject line postdoc_name-surname, and containing a single PDF (<10 MB) named postdoc_name-surname.pdf with:

• Motivation letter (max 1 page up to 550 words) emphasising your fit with BULLAB.
• Key contributions (max 1 page up to 550 words) highlighting how your research contributed to general scientific knowledge.

PhD opportunities

bullab is happy to host PhD students who bring their own funding (e.g. Fulbright Scholarships, SECIHTI. The Faculty of Environmental Sciences provides partial scholarships to PhD students, as long as they secure part of the funding themselves or via their supervisor. Currently, bullab does not have funds for PhD positions, but funding may become available in the future (currently 2026), depending on the success of our grant applications.
